^^^ Yeah, for that price I'd rather have a C2 & C4 in the garage and no Mortgage

Fantastic news! The more expensive the RSs get - the more expensive the coupe manuals get.

Well as soon as we're in Spring we'll be seeing how the market goes for 2014... watch this space, it could get interesting!

Sorry guys but hard to compare RS and C2/4, or 2.7RS and 2.7T/E/S
The same way it's hard to compare Stradale and 360, Scud and 430

It just isn't that simple. I can see how frustrating it is in terms of $ return...all really that matters is how much fun you are having with your own car

Don't forget that the two recent high price RSs are RHD and sellers are probably speculating on the far east markets that can't buy the preferred LHD lightweight. So these two prices are not really representative of the true price of an RS.

Market history shows that when RS prices go up, the non RSs follow suit. As they have done over the last 8 years.

I don't know where you see frustration. What you see here is a thread that dates back just two years/ the market trend that exemplifies our point.

If this is an honest advert, those wanting a C2 need to be quick!

Hi,

I think the price of this is reflected in it being a RS Lightweight of which there were only 40 rear wheel drive RHD examples to the UK of a total of 72 RHD cars.

5 of them in Rubystone Tom

I think there were about 20 4WD cars, not sure if that was worldwide.

Cheers,
Paul
