Only 6 years eh Frank, BB is a fresh faced baby compared to the mint car. Built in 2007 iirc!

Odd... posted to another thread and it appeared here. Anyone know how to delete a post to clean this up?

Just tried to get JZM to value mine given similar spec to minty plus 3.8 and MOTEC. However, their words were 'get ninemeister to value it'. Hmmmm...aren't they Porsche sales specialists... Will chalk it up as another super bit of JZM customer service :-)

Still, I would love to know what its worth these days so that via man math I can justifiably spend more on her over next winter ;-)

Mark, who did you talk to at JZM, they did my PPI, and are in the process of doing a valuation for me, but they do know the car, may be they are right about asking 9M, they do know your car, don't they.

Man maths, love it! I said something along the same lines to one of my minions at work when I saw the price of that mint one. That easily justifies 3.8 and motec next winter, maybe even some bbs!

Not 'strictly' a 964 but a very good price with what looks like lots of history to support a solid specimen.

Use as is or possible back date.

9m know the car very well :-)

Still, given that they - JZM - are trying to be/ are a Porsche sales specialist they are probably the people to go to rather than 9m - i.e. regardless of who knows the car best it's surely who knows the market best, and that would arguably be JZM would it not since they have sold some heavily modified C2s (PS Porsche Green, Lees NGT, Minty) over the last 24 months? Some might say they are dictating the market.

Tell me I'm wrong...but I'm just confused why JZM hate them - 9m - so much. The first and last time I had my car serviced there they spent 20 minutes telling me how shiite it was and that the engine will probably blow up...as soon as I mention a 9m engine build when describing my car to get a valuation they shrug me off. Go figure...

The bubble has got to burst at some point surely - at these prices I'm tempted to put mine up at a silly price at the end of the track day season just to see if I can recoup the bulk of my costs. Knowing my luck the market would have collapsed by then

You asked them for a valuation? When they are buying it is ****e, likely to blow up and whoever did the work didn't know squat. When they are selling it is immaculate, with stunning attention to detail and probably unique in the marketplace today....you get the picture

What Ras62 says, UK Dealers have a long way to go to reach the buyer's / sellers expectation, more competition is needed in the market along with maturity!

£33k for a 100k mile Guards Red C4 with no rebuild?

Yes indeed, and worth every penny.

From the rumor I heard, that's a nice mark up for the dealer!
