Does mileage matter much over condition?

Hope not. I'm closing in on 130k. I'd hope my car Is in better condition than most 65k cars. Knowing RPM, if they were selling they'd probably advertise it with 0 miles on the clock.

Stan, I'm standing with ya. Always buy on condition unless you're into a collection car.

Your car is a fine example (gutted you weren't there at the last meet) you've extensively restored hard to reach areas. I'd want your car hands down over a 30k car and then there's ROBs thread or Nski's or Rennlister Exclusive LeMass....

Besides if you aren't collecting... You'd feel guilty every mile you put on it... hell with my mileage it doesn't even matter anymore

Some of our other high miles, highly maintained cars are now sulking because they didn't get a mention.

So, going to cheer mine up now by fitting the track wheels for Oulton Park next week.

Cheers BB

My thoughts exactly. Many of our cars are going to be faaaaaaar better than any even 50k mile car, because they are still 20+ years old now... Mine has 116k on it :-0

Mileage is important to some people.
When I was a memeber of the Porsche club, it mostly seemed to important to keep the mileage down on your car and if your car had a higher than average (read 5k PA) you we're look down on.
To me, I don't care about the mileage of my 964, because, from now on it's going to just get better, and the mileage tells a story too.
The only important thing to me is the condition of the car and I would guess that most of us who do own one now, are making them better than they were 10 years ago and in some cases better than when new!

Ah my car! Yep, a lovely chap came to look at it the other day, he reckons it might be an intermittent ABS sensor? It's weird as the tacho does go up, but not the speedo?
Fab car though, it's been a great ownership!

I suspect that won't be around for long. It's probably worth more on the continent too. I'd have to change the steering wheel, but other than that it looks like a nice car for someone!

Saw that last night - looks a bargain to me. I've just bought another car a couple of days ago otherwise I'd be viewing that.
