Hello. Going back to the window removal you mentioned that they are not bonded like the 993's.
Upon repaint of my 91 coupe I removed windshield, quarter windows and rear window and all of them were bonded. And from what I understand this was factory. I worked my butt off cleaning all the bonded rubber.

Because the car is getting a colourchange, and my mind keeps on changing from week to be,
What colour should I go?
Not white as I already have white!
Speed Yellow
Rubystone red
PepperMint green
Riviera blue
Maritime blue
Signal green
Herring grey
This week its Martime blue:-D

Amazon Green is the best color for a track car project! I'm always getting compliments about my 'unique' and marvelous color.
A few pics of mine when it got converted a few years ago and how it looks today for comparison ...

Was this a 964 turned 993 racecar?
Hopefully, the roof will be off for a builting full cage, that Mark&Colin at 9M had donated me a Cup cage ready to WELD or not to WELD? BOLT or not to BOLT? Now this decision is half hearted
Anyway, an absolute stunner of a racer Tom!

Hi Norm
Colour choice - very difficult when you have a blank canvas! It gave me many sleepless nights!!
I reckon best bet for Neil will be to try and buy an afternoon slot once he's there. Unless it's majorily over subscribed, should be able to get an afternoon drive.
Cheers Graham

Arhhhh I bet Gray, you have countless sleepless nights, but byyyyyyyyy heck did you make a fine colour choice. I see the new 997 Speedster has based the new Speedster in blue too!

Ok back to the build photos!
The next job was to take apart the sunroof, easy enough at the front sliding the sunroof lining back, and undoing a few tiny bolts and screws on side. But slider cable needs diassembling from the back where the motors sit.
Now I know why theres a ZIP on the back of the headlining! So you can access the motors if there was a FAULT, which I heard is common! So if anyone needs cable, motors for the sunroof, I have them here.

I haven't owned a Porka since, been through classic VW's, and just utilitarian cars since, I currently own an automatic L200 pick-up lol
Been into bikes for a while, but had a massive accident at 20mph in the pits at Brands, busted ankle, two compound femurs, smashed right wrist, right thumb and broken left hand. That was back in May, still learning to walk again, and can only drive an auto at present.
Needless to say, my biking days are over, and once I'm fully recoved I'll be building a track 964, maybe 9 months away. Looking at availabilty and prices at the moment.
