I've done a fair amount of research on this and there are some good threads in the RL DE and Racing section on this. In essence, you really want the belts as short and tight as possible to avoid all possible stretch and in case of an accident being thrown around your car like a rag-doll even possibly upside down .

People have different opinions and you will see different setups on different race cars.

This is not a touring saloon car but a small Porsche with a very small cabin.

The 996 10x18 Carrera 5-spoke wheels are light and not expensive, I have these. If you do not choose something like a real split rim, then these are really nice http://www.kerscher-tuning.de/raeder/index.php?id=3
Not as expensive as proper BBS Motorsport ones. My friend has a set and they are really light and give a good width, we tested them on my car which has rolled fenders. ( 10,5 ET48 265/35-18 Toyo R888)

Unfortunately not Ben... I dug lots of new bits out to take with me and then the snow started.

I need to get down an see it as soon as the weather allows.
