Lee, looking good! Nicely tight built cage Its difficult to tell from the picture but where is the horizontal bar to tie your upper seat harnesses to?

The only update so far this week is a website that my friend built for me as a birthday gift to document the build.

www.CagedCar.com

I will be receiving pics tomorrow hopefully of a painted interior/cage!

Hey Lee, Nice build you have going on there..... Have you decided on camber plates as yet?

Quick question on the cage design and the placement of the horizontal harness bars. I always thought that you needed to keep the length of the harnesses as short as possible to reduce stretch (and the harnesses do stretch in an accident). Do you know where I can read more about this, very interested.

Regards,

Hi Steven,

I have ordered the camber plates from Tom along with some other items, thanks for the advice.

I was told by a very experienced cage builder that having the harness bars too close can put extreme pressure on the driver/passengers body because there is zero stretch.

I guess people have different opinions.

Cheers

Lee
