$399 for this batch + shipping (it's $20 for US, around EUR15-20 for EU, others I need to check)

Sure, I'll send you PM.
Some progress photos from today. It's interesting that these CNC machined parts looks like they are not flat and have some marks after the milling, but the surface is completely flat in touch.
Left covers are done, right covers are done in front, now the machining of the back and the trip to anodising company.
These look great. Has any consideration been given to a light media blast to remove machining marks and sharp edges?
Sharp edges will be removed and the surface chemically treated at the anodising company. Media blast would create a surface that would not look nice when anodised.
I’ll be there tomorrow and give you exact info.
For black and silver it was usually within same business week (if delivered to them on Monday, which is what I will do tomorrow :-)).
just hope they work as usual this week (Easter next weekend). This means next week I should be able to start packing and shipping if all goes smoothly.
Remind me what sealant you used so I can order some, assuming it’s not included?
Dirko HT Grey. This is what I used on the three engines that have my covers.
I’m sure other sealant will work as well, so if you have something other at hand, I’d use it. Just make sure it’s designed for that type of application.
For sure I would not use Hylomar, as I have bad experience with it. But most of the Loctites for that type of application should work fine as well.
Guys I started shipping the covers today. 3 sets already sent(US, AT and JP).
I will pack and ship the remaining ones during the upcoming days (or pack in the evenings and ship in the day exactly, as I'm working full time in IT and Porsches is just a "side project" to me ha ha).
I'm reusing old packaging material from the packages I received not to generate new waste, so it's certainly more time consuming than just placing the covers in new and shiny boxes, but at least I feel better that way.
Fingers crossed for quick delivery.
I was asked if these re-engineered covers will fit the 993TT.
I’m sure these won’t fit the 964 turbo, as these engines have more in common with the 930 ones, by the 3.6L 993TT???
I have no clue about the 993TT, I’ve not seen that engine personally yet.
Attaching a photo of a 993TT engine I found in the web. It looks like the covers are the same as in the 3.6L N/A engines, but can smn confirm that 100% please?
