That will be really interesting to see what happens with that intake. With welded alu ones they often collapse (implode) under boost if they don't have supports.
Would be awesome to make a 3Dp version that holds up.

For a naturally aspirated application, if it's printed well enough I don't see why it wouldn't hold under idle and EASY driving.... @hinton 🤣 ..... As long as there are no residual plastic stringy boogers inside from the printing process, I say send it and see what happens!

High manifold pressure is almost easier to contain because its working against the metals tensile strength.
But vacuum inside is a crushed coke can situation, if the material isn't strong enough.

However, if our only option of getting the car running and to 944 fest is to use that intake, I’m certainly going to give it a shot.

Yeah, this was printed in ABS on an SLA machine... a lot stronger than PLA on a filament style machine. But still, I'm not sure. It's just Mike's $200 engine though, so who cares... :-)
