Once I get costs/pricing figured out for the oil pan, I will let everyone know. I am just waiting on quotes from a couple places. It would probably be good for everyone to go ahead and remove the cast aluminum upper oil pans from your engines so you're able to ship to me in a week or so. PM me and I will send you my address.

I've followed this thread for a bit, i don't know if this was asked yet and i'm hoping i can just ask without reading 80 pages worth. Is there any estimates as to what overall swap costs might be around for an N/A swap just to get the car driving with the 07k? (no brake/suspension work or anything)

6k is about what I have budgeted for this swap, plus a bit more since I'm investing in tools I will use again in the future like a welder, engine hoist & stand, special sockets and driver's, etc. Also depends on your starting point; if you have a solid & safe rolling chassis, and what condition everything else is in.

Yes, both of us. Both of us are using components that make us "boost ready" in the future (i.e. clutch).
Add roughly $2k to $6k for a turbo swap, around 400whp. Low end being already having a 951 transaxle and buying a used turbo, high end being a new Garrett turbo and needing a transaxle.
This includes stand alone engine management and everything, all in.
Any LS swap guys out there know the real all in cost of an LS swap?

@emaxxowns @hinton Yes to the naturally aspirated 🤙 although Mike is shoving his exhaust up through the hood, which, part of me cringes at, the other part applauds 😂 I've got a 40% LSD in my transaxle, and it's an 84 which I believe has the high 5th gear or whatever the kids are calling it. The swap kit is very forgiving, in a sense that you can go either way.
I've got a spreadsheet that outlines everything I've bought to date, and what I plan to buy for the swap. If you want I can PM you a number that will be pretty close.

Anyway, my intent is not to disparage the LS swap, but in my experience it's more costly and takes more fiddly work than you might expect. And the reliability on track was not as good as I had hoped it would be. YMMV...

Thats the reason I asked. The LS swap kit price is really reasonable, I had just always heard the full build cost balloons pretty quickly.
