just typed out a whole thing on my phone to describe these pics... and somehow deleted it. I’ll explain when I get to a device other than my phone... anyway it’s good news

Ok take 2...

Today I was able to install the engine in the car with the bellhousing, clutch, and hydraulics hooked up to the 944 master cylinder. Good news... it worked. Here are the components I used:

- my bellhousing (nineXengineering)
- my pilot bearing adapter (nineXengineering)
- SPEC 02M aluminum flywheel (SV81A)
- SPEC 02M pressure plate
- SPEC 944 Turbo disk (stage 3)
- Solstice GXP hydraulic TOB (24234308)
- Kappadapt Stainless Clutch Fitting adapter to -4AN with 2 o-rings (CHK101-2)
- Jegs 635158, 24” stainless braided Teflon lined hydraulic hose with -4AN ends (one straight, one 90)
- Earl’s AT9919BFEERL, Adapter M12 x 1.0 to -4AN
- Stock Porsche 944 master cylinder

* Note: SPEC clutch and flywheel parts for our kit will be available to purchase on the boost brothers store at lower prices than if you pieced them together from other vendors. Mike will update everyone here once they are up for sale.

Looks like we're ready to make a run of bellhousings! I am working on getting all of the bellhousing parts quoted at a quantity of 20.

*EDIT* I will update here with final pricing after I get all of the piece part quotes and welding/fab estimates. From what I'm seeing so far from vendors, I think it will be very reasonable.

Here's who I have down for a bellhousing (from $100 pre-order deposits). I don't think I'm missing anyone, but obviously if you paid me a deposit and don't see your name here, let me know asap.

if anyone needs a compressor mapped let me know, I still have all the info.
Check out the Xona rotor line.
EFR71763 is also a great option, albeit long for its size but we should have plenty of space in the engine bay.

From the Iroz website for TTRS/RS3 turbo kits. Power and spool will be slightly different due to exhaust cam VVT and DI, but still provides a good rough sizing table.

Please use this guide as a guide to help meet your expectations or the expectations of your customers. Our pump fuel is USA 91 octane. The expected powerband is listed:

IMS575(EFR7163) 575hp on high octane, 525bhp on pump gas. 3400-7000

There’s also an adapter that iAbed is making to let you bolt an RS3 turbofold onto an 07k. And I think Iroz modifies those manifolds to install Xona cartridges.

Hopefully this time there won't be any hackers involved trying to pull any scams on us 😂

Good point, Spencer... only place orders through the boost brothers garage store. Don't paypal anyone who contacts you about these parts, even if it looks like it's coming from me or hinton.

Well, it turns out everything takes long than I thought... casting place is saying still about a month until they get the prototype manifold all done. Then, if there aren't any major tooling changes needed, my guess is 4-6 weeks after that for the production run. I'd figure probably early July before the manifolds are ready to ship. Silver lining... if the prototype manifold fits and is usable, I should be able to get my car up to Performance Electronics for the wire harness development and hopefully get it running and tuned ahead of the production manifolds arriving. Fingers crossed!
