Looks really good!
I thought your threw out the 5th injector? Or are you just running with it disconnected?

Thanks! Yes, 5th injector is disconnected. At some point I want to experiment with using a small 5th injector for intake charge cooling.

Lol. Dropped a valve seat. Had to do a new block and pistons. Check out my build thread. Some much higher level stuff on this one

The guy who did the machine work on my intake plenum is going to be on Discovery Channel's Biker Build-off tomorrow night. His name is Chad from Shop 102. When I showed up to pick up my parts, the Discovery Channel was on-site filming. Pretty cool. Chad is a real nice guy and does quality work at a very fair price.

I contacted ACL bearings earlier today and got a response back saying "Unfortunately ACL Bearing Company will be closing late June 2014. "...trying to find out why, but might be time to stock up on bearings.

Thanks for the heads up. Good news is there are quite a few other excellent options.

Going up North a little to pick up a nice 3.0L crank on Tuesday. I think you need a wine country vacation in a few months!

Getting ready for Road Atlanta next weekend. Decided to replace the timing belt as it has been a couple years since it has been replaced. The timing belt roller seams a bit stiff to me. Sounds fine but I am inclined to replace it. How freely does a new one spin? TIA

That looks OK. New pulleys/rollers are stiff since the seals are still tight and they're filled with fresh grease. As they get old the seals loosen up and the grease dries out, so they actually spin easier after a couple years of use. As they wear down farther the bearings become rough and they develop freeplay. At that point I consider it unusable.
