BTW nice thread, it'll give me something to brows through.

Also - should put the engine type next to their name and a short list of mods for example

paulyy - ls1, ls2 head, Comp Cam 293LR, long tube headers, Maf-less tune, 400 rwhp
like the 3L reg.
Actually, I'd rather have them post all the details in their first post. They can edit it if they want. And I will reference their post number on the first page. Otherwise I think the original list will get too confusing.

I have a 948... Actually in the process of a complete suspension overhaul. All Racers Edge and Elephant racing solid bushings. Also doing the 996 GT3 caliper upgrade. Then hopefully at some point adding ABS with the boxter pump. And going with an electric PS fluid pump from a mini...

Since the LS2 was hydrolocked in a flash flood I am also having the motor rebuilt with all forged internals and boring it out to a 402. Spending the money on a new complete fast 102 manifolf, throttle body, rails etc. --- Ron Davis Radiator, oil cooler and all lines will be steel braided with quality AN fittings etc.

Then do a serious cage, some aero etc. My wife is gonna hate me!

In the process of one also, ETA is hopefully by spring; going to talk to the builder today or tomorrow to finalize the details.

Default 1986 LS6 Powered 944

Here are some pictures of my 944 with a 2002 LS6, I done the conversion myself two years ago. The PCM runs EFILive and I have done all the tuning myself.

Mods;

- Coilovers all round
- 968 6-speed transmission
- 2002 LS6 with 806 heads, soon to have rebuilt 243 heads
- 226/229 575/585 Cam
- Centerforce PP with Dodge 11" clutch disk
- MSD coils
- Modified 968 rear spoiler (made it adjustable)
- Rear Weltmeister adjustable with front Turbo sway bars
- Turbo brakes

The car is very fast, scares me every time I drive it. The cam has a power band from around 3000 to 6500 rpm, pulls hard all the way to the rev limiter (6800rpm).

Hey... for $600 RPM Motors (the guys that built my LS6) will run your 243 heads through their CNC machine and port them to their spec. Since you don't have them on yet... it's a pretty big bang-for-the-buck. Like around 30RWHP with a LS6 intake manifold.

Thanks for that information, $600 is not bad for that kind of power.

$600 each or total, and can they run their CNC program on any old LS style head or is it specific to the 243 design?
