Was this with the stock AFM?

I have a pdf article from a while back of someone test driving a prototype 951 before it got detuned. From his test drives on the autobahn and runs with a Ferrari 512, which the 951 crushed, he said it felt waaaayyyyy more than the eventual 250hp.

Dude you should definitely share that pdf

I think I found the ETG source, waiting for a reply from Germany..
I simply put the cone filter behind the wheel liner so it is protected from dirt and fed cool air from the aperatures in the front bumper cover.

Kevin, no worries mate will keep you posted

cas951 thanks for sharing. Great story although it also makes me kinda sad that I can't see how my car really performs unless I get it on a track. Be nice if our legislators let us use our freeways the way they were designed to be used

200km/h+ ? our freeways are built so dam good and it's limited to 100 km/h.
The freeway you took to my house is so smooth and no sharp turns. it's bacicaly straight, even going on to werribee south (further down) it's just as smooth.

I got a reply from Germany. Here's what he said-

"I have calculated an export-price excl. VAT and checked the costs for shipping. Custums and taxes in US will be your part. Because of different effort at our customs depending on the total value I can offer 1 piece, 3 pieces or 12 pieces separated in 3 invoices and shippings. Our offer is:
1 piece 300 Euro plus 40 Euro shipping, in total 340 Euro.
3 pieces 280 Euro plus 45 Euro shipping, in total 885 Euro.
12 pieces 249 Euro plus 3x50 Euro shipping, in total 3138 Euro.
If you want our ETG-logo removed, we can do this without extra-costs.
If you are interested please check if payment would be possible to a german bank-account with IBAN and BIC.

Best regards

"

Converted to $US that would be:
$447 for 1
$388 ea for 3
$342 ea for 12

I need to look int the VAT, customs charges, and see if a bank transfer would be a problem. I checked with an Admin, and as long we each pay them directly, a group buy is OK. I would be willing to have them sent to me, and distribute them to the buyers for my shipping cost.

Who's interested?

Default This is Cheaper

My attempt at replicating 968 turbo s box. Throttle response seems better, and the engine runs noticeably smoother and the price is definitely right. thanks Travis from Rennbay!

I was hoping it would have come in less money. For that price it would drop on my "to do" list.

I wish I had time in my life...I'm sure it is not too difficult to replicate.

Thanks for your efforts!

How are you getting the colder air to it or are you just breathing in hot air from the engine bay?

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...l-project.html

This is what I did for free.

When I dyno my car I will measure the difference with and without the box, but I bet it is not that much difference once I altered mine.
