951 V8 with Boxter 986/911 996 ABS ----- DONE :-)

Received this pump today. It's a Boxster pump 986.355.755.00. The connector is a two row style one, should work with Tony's wiring kit.
I found out the same connector type was used on several european cars like Opel Astra/Zafira, Renault Scenic & VW/Audi models. Some of these pumps even have the same Bosch part number which is also on Boxster pumps. I suppose there still must be a difference built in "brain program".

That should work.
Did I send you the contact info for the wiring harness?

AWSOME!!!!! tony! (ive been offline a bit)
have you got a pic of it installed in your v8 engine bay tony?
my biggest concern about my 944 is lack of abs, its very expensive to lock up wheels..

I don't have it. I didn't wire it up. Not that would be all the difficult.
My friend is making the complete ABS wiring harnesses with the ABS pump connector, the OBD2 connector, etc... for $250.
At that price it's not really worth the time/materials.

As Tony have written earlier, that connector is not the one we are looking for. Pump Tony used had two rows of pins, with 4 wider pins. My son have that same pump for his project 951.
We gladly pay $250 of wiring harness. It seems to difficult to find new connector for the pump. Used Porsche wiring harness are quite expensive. Luckily here in Finland i can quite easily source a used one from some Opel, Renault etc.
Tony, PM me your friends e-mail address, so i can ask him the wiring harness.

Tony,
looks like Boxster pump uses bigger piping (with bigger fittings) between brake master cylinder and ABS pump. How did you solve smaller diameter pipe master cylinder to bigger diametr ABS pump brake line issue (i suppose adapters are available) ?

Olli, do you have the pinout diagrams for the two row (986.355.755.00) and therefore know that they are not the same as what Eric linked to? As Eric suggested, pins 27-31 are likely an add on for those units with TC and pins 1-26 are similar to 986.355.755.00. If you have the pinout for the 26 pin unit, and it differs from Eric's link, please post it. I have the 986.355.755.00 unit and plan on putting this together myself, so I am interested in the correct info, not speculation.

Tim,
here's what they "should" be. This is a two row pin system (Bosch 5.3) diagram
1. RR sensor ground
2. RR sensor signal
3. RF sensor (Vechiles with 4wd)(in most of Bosch 5.3 systems not in use at all)
4. RF sensor ground
5. RF sensor signal
6. LF sensor ground
7. LF sensor signal
8. LR sensor ground
9. LR sensor signal
10. Instrument cluster processor (Only vechiles with EDL)
11. K wire ( to OBD connector pin 7 )
12. -
13. PCM engine torque & misfire monitoring (Only vechiles with TCS)
14. Stoplight switch
15. RF ABS wheel speed sensor (Vechiles with front wheel drive and ABS/EDL/TCS)
16. Ground ABS return flow pump
17. Positive battery voltage
18. Positive battery voltage
19. Ground ABS control module (To OBD connector pin 4 )
20. Traction control indication light
21. ABS light activition (Ground)
22. -
23. LR speed sensor
24. RR speed sensor
25. -
26. -
ABS warning light in cluster is driven by two wires. On center connector pin #9 with yellow/black wire and left connector pin #14 with white wire.
