i'm not sure what you mean by ramp rate but that's a nice looking curve!

2.5 n/a block and head. Turbo pistons/rods. Stock head without ceramics. That cam I mentioned to you previously. Stock inlet - Tbody. Larger fmic and hardpipes. GT3076 .82. Stupidly large exhaust built for 3L racemotor. I think the cam and exhaust slow the spool up but it's fine on the track Sid.

I'm not 100% sure either Paulyy but it's basically how they load up the dyno. Even how they position the car on the rollers makes a difference. You can bet that most dyno queen places squeeze every last hp/kw out of it to make themselves look better. Race oriented dynos want the opposite in many cases when power to weight is vital for classification.

well the shootout mode you used seems more practical.

I never knew you're using a N/A long block. thought it was a turbo block.
Does that mean you've got a 10.6:1 compression ratio?

Nope, same specs as a turbo block when using the turbo rods/pistons.
It was just a slapped together motor to run while waiting on the other one. Has lasted pretty well actually considering it's had a bit of track duty. Doesn't seem to blow much/any smoke anymore.

That makes sense now. i know Josh (rogue_ant) ran his na block at 18 psi all day and lasted ~9 months as a daily on e85.
Since you track the car, i'd assume the engine would have lasted 3-4? maybe? months, depends on how many times you track it a month.

Just a word of caution. Be careful running much harder. You may run into a broken rod. It seems to me these engines will only allow so much cylinder pressure before bending then breaking the big end of the stock rods. They are decades old now

Yes, of course Sid. This was more for a glory run than anything else. Will turn wick down for track.

That was a NA block with hicomp pistons as in all NA parts . Not the same as this block has 951 internals - pistons\rods.

Patricks engine will last, maybe long enough for him to build hes 3L.

What did you use for Oilcooling Patrick ?

Lookin' good! What psi were you running for those runs? I've really been meaning to take my car to the dyno...maybe you've inspired me to finally get out and do so.

Also, jealous of your FMIC.

Well you can see that for the majority of the run in the mid to upper rpms it's 23psi but it did hit close to 25psi briefly. We've turned it down to 20psi for the track weekend. So probably around 320whp which is fine.

Collin I was going to send you something via your email but I don't have it. PM it to me if you like.
