does anyone think any of these companies will come out with a twin turbo kit for our cars? And what is the most power at the wheels our cars have gotten up to? does anyone know?

Probably not. Twin turbos exist primarily to move the turbo closer to the engine (as in V6 or V8 engines) and to reduce turbo lag (less inertia on smaller compressor/turbine wheels). Using sequential turbos to reduce turbo lag and gain high end output is as Claus
Brustle (Project Manager for sports car engines a Weissach and involved with virtually every Porsche turbo car) put it "terribly complicated". If someone like Mr. Brustle thinks it's "terribly complicated", you can bet it is unbelievebly complicated to get excellent drivability from a system like that.

Oh ye 4 bangers with little faith,
Must I remind y'all that there are 500+ hp normially aspirated 928's terrorizing unsuspecting ZO6 and Viper owners. Well, I guess I do! Now slap a supercharger or a turbocharger to a few of the modified 928's and the ZO6, even turbocharged, will be hard pressed to win. F.A.S.T. is getting over 480RWHP/520RWTQ ON PUMP GAS, STOCK EXHAUST, FULL EMISSIONS-COMPLIANT. (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION!) That's a 5.0L motor! Now imagine if you were to rebuild the engine with forged pistons with a lower compression ratio, forged rods, and a forged crank. The motor could produce over 800+ RWHP.
Let's not concede victory,
Jim Nowak
1979 928
5.4L
J&E forged & coated 104 mm pistons
Devek racing cams
Devek racing radiator
S4 cooling fans
944 heads
Jet Hot coated headers
Redrilled crank
Modified oil galley
Electromotive Tec II
S4 brakes
ETC, ETC.....
Supercharger coming soon

pull the fuel pump fuse, run the car dry
it's only about 20 minutes after that. As long as you have good o rings on the ones going in.
and spend another 10 minutes checking for leaks. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
But then of course you have to dial them in.
