oh good idea, how loud is the by pass valve when it's tied in?
i've had it tied in with the airbox and i couldn't hear it. and dumped and it was loud-ish

Hose Rerouted and made some sort of heat shield out of off cuts of 304ss tube i used for the exhaust.
what i did was cut the tube then pulled it open as much as i could with my hands then bashed it flat with a mallet. then marked where i should bend it and cut. pretty simple IMO. only tools you would need is a mallet, a smaller hammer, grinder, file and pliers. (Or Jeremy Clarksons toolbox)
It's not the prettiest of things but i'll paint it with some heat resistant paint to dress it up a little.

Looks good! Just don't be too alarmed when that paint makes funny smells for the first few miles after you get her fired up. I painted a bunch of heat shields when I had my car apart and it smelled awful for a good while.

Nice job on the heat shield, +1 for ingenuity!
I'm going back and forth in my mind between an oil cooled only and wet CHRA for my next turbo. You definitely seem to have the most painless water plumbing install method I've seen.
Could you snap a shot of your turbo water temp sensor in relation to the intake manifold when it's on? You can kind of see it in one of your pictures but a little more detail would be appreciated.

It wasn't painless when we had to think of it but yeah it was put together quite easily. When i get back from work I'll put the intake on and take a few snaps for you,

Update, On the weekend we got most of the exhaust done! put the hangers, wbo2 bung & the other V band flange on the mid pipe. Cut the end pipe to fit the muffler, made 2 exhaust tips, and started on the wastegate exhaust.
