Yeah, it's nice not going from 30 degrees to 16 the back to 30 depending on your foot position. I love the 3d timing. You don't have to throttle it as much just to get up to speed. On mine I also love the lean burn setup. It really helps with the fuel I use.

If I already have a MAF system and the injectors and intake and all that junk, then do I just pick up an A-tune? Or do I need to purchase an M-tune and swap out everything?

The a tune is designed for air flow meters and is set up with that transfer function. To effectively use a maf you need a chip that has the code re-written to understand it. Otherwise, you would be doing what has been done for years and requires constant adjustment and a piggyback. Whether he has the the transfer function for your maf idk. Also using different injectors can be troublesome.

I would contact Josh directly. Since you are local he may be able to help you. However, I'm pretty sure he wants to utilize the components he has selected for consisentcy. Using different injectors, maf etc can be a bigger headache than wanted.

in an attempt to be budget concious I recently purchased some used parts...including Quad M MAF kit, Mafterburner and 55# inj's.

My plan is/was to install them this weekend.

Now I am second guessing myself...as you can imagine.

I wish i knew the price point!!!! It appears the MAF kit/chipboard/harness will be sold as a unit. Injectors would have to be matched??

I sure like the idea of the plug in harness. That is another reason i hesitate to install these items as I'll be hacking into the AFM harness this weekend. The money wouldn't be lost as I could still sell these recently acquired new/used parts.

hmmm

You don't have to hack the harness.

Call these guys:

http://www.performancedevelopments.com/home.php

They can sell you the white plug individually so you can plug your MAF directly into the AFM harness. Not hard to do at all, a really quick job.

Rogue really needs to start a new thread about this. I've been ignoring this one all week because I took the title literally. Now I'm all worked up over this too. I am extremely glad to hear that there is finally some good competition now with Vitesse's "TRUE MAF code" solutions being the only one around for a while. Looking forward to the news on pricing and availability.

I love it when new vendors with innovative products are introduced here. It's a beautiful thing when the List gets excited again. To have the products come from one of our own brethren is just the icing on the cake.

Hey I appreciate that! If I do install this system that will be the way to go.

Its been posted a few times that the kit isn't 100% ready. Its about 99% at this point. A little last minute tuning to make it perfect, and the "official" announcement will be made.

I'll tell you, I understand it's about 99.5%, just a couple tweaks left, and it'll be rockin. I'm not at liberty to discuss the price point, but I'll tell you it's much cheaper for what you get than some of the other MAF kits out there. The value is just amazing, and the craftsmanship and support are top tier. This is going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread in the 951 world. Hold your horses, Y'all... and I know I'm throwing fuel on the fire....but be patient
