Reviving this old thread because I'm about to do this on my car. Found this fuel evaporation line diagram in another thread along with a little more instruction to help with the previously mentioned two links.

Take care of the hoses seal esp the J-boot, throttle body, sensor vacum.....
I delete the cyclinder valve and took the metal pipe out under the intake. Very clean now.

I meant to post here but posted this on the water cooled forum by accident. Anyways, I've looked through all of the evap delete threads and have a question.. I looked at the lines coming from tank to the front of the car and it appears that there are 3. A braided-looking line, a rubber line going from the pump/filter and a 3rd rubber line (coming from the upper part of the tank). From everyone's accounts of putting a vent filter back there, it appears that the "other" black rubber hose would the be one the could fit the 1/2" filter I bought. Could someone please confirm?

The filter I used looks like this, http://www.pinellaspowerproducts.com...FUELFILTER.jpg I cut the hose above the passenger CV axle, bought from advanced auto parts for like $10. Ive had no gas smells, or any tank pressure issues either.
