We have prepared parts for powdercoating and anoidzed process. Will get parts back within a week. Then we can start to put car back together again. We have also made some overhaul to 951S engine we bought from Alasdair in Scotland. Cars original non LSD-non cooled trans will be replaced with this very good LSD/cooled unit. My son managed to make an exchange to his "plain" trans without any extra cost. Owner of this LSD trans must be a mental case Cleaned this trans and it is ready to bolt on.
We also got new castor blocks for the project. Original plan was to use 968 M030 items, but we decided to go these

Most of these parts you can see in this project thread might be commercially available. Because iam not allowed to advertise, i have not a possibility to continue this story on this forum anylonger because we are buying parts from many vendors including my friend, so everything i write is considered as an advertisement which i am not allowed to do.

I'm simply loving yours & sons project and commitment ... I only hope that one day I have a son like yours to share the same experiences ... my Russian daughter simply has no interest in cars let alone a Porsche or 951 todate I have no son
Best regards,
Mark

Come on Ollie, it makes my day to see how you guys solve problems. You just make parts if they are not available or are too expensive.
Real engineering.

Warning, this might be an ad.
Tube is there because my friends car have brand X engine management system installed. It uses MAP, so there is no need to have anything else than a hose & filter in front of turbo
