I've read the thread... I've seen the tire rack specs.

I wanted someone to actually lay eyes on the product. Some real world fitment on a 944.

again you didn't look... Post 20 & 31 The car on the lift with the side profile is a 951. Also the pic from the rear comparing a phonedial to cup 4

That's about as far as I have gotten so far front hubs and spindles are back on waiting for slotted rotors! Among other goodies

mid July I will know how they held up to track abuse

They weight 21lbs or was it 24lbs, they are a few pounds lighter then the twists. As for fit, the front end isn't together yet and looks, they definitely grew on me

Yeah ok. Thanks for the reply.

I saw those pics, but for some reason I assumed they were not on a car from a RLer... Just a sample pic someone found....

Sorry for my confusion.

If you ordered the 17x7.5 et 52 front wheels, you would need a 23mm spacer to get you back to original offset.
If the new rear wheel is 17x9 et 47, then an 11mm spacer will set the wheel back to OE offset. If you’re looking to push them out closer to the fenders just measure from your factory wheel and add to these figures.
Which spacers would I need to get those offsets?

pelican has spacers but i'm not sure if they add up exactly to those specs.

I like the design, however I'm still on the wall about aftermarket wheels after a few bad experiences I've had. That being said, the town I live in has some of the worst roads in the bay area which is the main reason why I had problems. In fact a week ago I just discovered a few bends in my audi factory wheels.

Needless, that is a GREAT price to give it a try, just be sure to buy some tires you can fit to another set just in case.

11mm on front and 23mm on back for 86 to be at stock off set. I will post pics and comments on fitment once winter is over.

Hey Damon, I think the 19x10 wheel is probably 29.8 not 19.8 lbs?

Does anyone have the weight for 15" phone dials?

Wouldn't 15" tires with big side walls weigh more than 17" tires that are the same width? or is most all of the weight in the tread? Just thinking that that could even the weight gap...

The 15” phones are about 15.5 pounds. 15” tires 215/60-15 run between 23 – 26lbs.

The 215/45-17 tire is 21 – 24lbs. Main advantage would be less sidewall flex.

They look great on that 968. I can't wait to get mine on the car. Too much snow on the ground now but winter can't last forever. Anybody else putting them on an 86'?

Nothing really to bench mark them against at this stage - been running at a new/ just opened circuit, on new and different sized tyres to what I usually run.

I have previously run the Bridgestone RE55s on 16" wheels for circuit racing but not a 17" - I used Dunlop DZ03G's in 17" previously for tarmac rallys, so too much has changed to isolate the wheels specifically but no issues so far in ~350 race miles and similar road miles.
