need an update George!

BTW, I used your pics as my desktop pic for the last month or so! Great looking car and pics!

Do the wheel spacers need to have tapered studs? I am getting a set and the dealer needs to know. This is for the rear 23mm spacer. Any help would be appreciated.

Dunno what to tell you, they fit under the fender up front just enough, and even did a sort of load test, loosened spring on kw's as much as possible and jacked it up until the car slightly came off the lift and there was still room to shove a finger in between. At full wheel lock there's some slight rubbing, so no full lock. Next sat is groundschool so perfect opportunity to test them under medium stress before ripping it up at DE events. These wheels and dunlop direzza star spec so far have no issues minus full wheel lock 255 all 4 corners on 17/9's on a early offset car with turbo S hubs, spindles and calipers

So no need for spacers at all with an 86? I have 9s in back with 7.5s in the front.

Street driving no problem, track driving i'll let you guy's know if I rip off my fender but it looks more likely that it won't

Can't do a full wheel turn lock though just at the end end it will rub a bit on the inner bottom plastic, so be careful in the paddock!

The width of the new rim (9) makes up for some of the offset issue. Although I am a little confused as I have 18x9 et 55 with 245's front and have to use a 28mm on the front, and 18x10 et65 with 285's rear and use a 31mm spacer.

The fronts I understand as I could have used only a 7mm spacer (to clear suspension or brakes...can't remeber which), but had the wheel well room to stnace them further outside.

But at THAT offset listed, the rears should be rubbing on the inside.....not the outside. Unless those 255's are just barely sliding by, which of course with any rear sag via weight or acceleration he'll know soon enough.
