I suppose a pic would help answer my question, so if anyone has one please post.

Thanks !
Not using any aftermarket spacers. Will though after corner balancing and alignment. The rears look a little sunk in, fronts are perfect. Hope this helps. I'll post what size spacers I end up using but they will be for early offset.

Thanks Jason. I have early offset '86 as well, trying to figure out what I need to do to make these work.

Like I've said before, I had zero issues running with no spacers at the track. I just felt they looked a little sunk in. So with corner balancing I'll know the exact offset and be able to choose appropriate spacers. I'll keep you posted

ps

running 9's all around

Forgot to ask, does your '86 have the factory wheel spacers on the hubs, or no ? I'm not sure how common those are (mine has them on fronts and rears).

Tx

Early offset would benefit from 8mm spacers in rear for running 17/9 all around

width - 64.8'' front 64.1'' rear = .7/2=.35 = 8.89mm

Looking for opinions here. Would the flat or concave center caps look best with these wheels?

Are the tire max sizes different from the 951 and the 944? I have a 83 944 and was thinking about running the 17/9 in the back with the 17/7.5 in the front with no spacers but I don't know if I can do that. I heard that the rim sizing is different from the 951 and 944 but I just want to be sure it will fit.

did anyone put these rims on a 78-79 928? any issues? spacers needed?

also - where would one order the centercaps at?

i think i want to put these on mine - seem like a heckuva deal - and exactly the kind of "freshening up" over the old dial rims that i'm looking for...

i'll probably put Toyos on em - my uncle is a wholesale tire guy and he carries Toyos, Bridgestone, Firestone, Maxxis, etc.

If any of you Denver folks need tires - I can set you up with his warehouse. They do mount and balance - but only by appointment.

I just got my 944S and am looking at the Cup 4's. The original phone dials are very faded at in need of refinishing. Quick question: Would spacers on the rear wheels cause the tires to rub against the fenders?

I use 8mm spacers in the rears, no issues street or track

Thank you very much for the info! So the 8mm spacers should fix that "sunk in" look.?
