Anyone know what spacers would be needed to fit on an 86?

Would anyone have any reservations putting in some track time with these wheels? (strength)

I'm wanting a set of 17"s to use until I can afford some custom Fikse.

These wheels would be great, I just don't want to "get what I paid for" (cheap).

Well, I just bought a set. They will be here in about a week but, I still don't know what spacers I will need. I'll keep everyone posted.

Anyone know if I will have to have the inside of the rear fenders rolled in order to fit 255s?

If your 951 is an ’86 these numbers apply, if not, go here and have fun!

If you ordered the 17x7.5 et 52 front wheels, you would need a 23mm spacer to get you back to original offset.
If the new rear wheel is 17x9 et 47, then an 11mm spacer will set the wheel back to OE offset. If you’re looking to push them out closer to the fenders just measure from your factory wheel and add to these figures.

Thanks for the specs. I'm still wondering if I have enough clearance inside the rear fender. I have heard the earlier models have the "boxed" inner fender and anything other than stock 16s with 225s will rub on the inside. Is this true?

Are 86 NA front fenders the same as 86 turbo fenders...clearance wise?
