CPR sorry I was not making a remark about your splitters. I know you make a quality part. I thought fiberglass was all that was available tell I saw yours. I don't want fiberglass because well it's fiberglass! I was asking a general question about splitters. I think it got answered while I was out.

I was just trying to find out generally if front splitters will survive at 175+.

Turbos S, Lindsey racing stage 2 uprated valve springs, max chip with supporting mods. I was hitting fuel cut at 7500, pulls hard to 7200 but I read you should not rev these motors that high so I have been keeping it at 6800.

Oh stock turbo at 17 lbs for now.

Oh yeah and 170+ terminal velocity I'am pretty sure I can do. But in a mile, yeah that's is a pretty tall order.

But hey that's what mods are for!

lol...no problem man, that wasn't what I was getting at

I was just asking if it was these you were wondering about, that was all. But no mine are not fiberglass and yes pretty much all will withstand high MPH...fiberglass, ABS, or otherwise.

Relax

Ok so what does it take to spin a SOHC 951 to 7500 rpm reliably? Uhh besides cash? In the Toyota world 22re a cam swap and you go from 5500 to 7500. And a 4efte 7200 stock a spring change and you can spin that one to 8000.

A 951 stock makes more power stock than either of these but would a cam and valve spring upgrade
get you to 7500?

The main problem with high sustained RPM is the oiling system. Also, the stock reciprocating assembly is very heavy; the valve train is very heavy as well...

I know for a fact that the CPR V1 splitter is fine at 150mph...

Ok soooo...lightened crank, crankshaft scrapper and Lindsey oil pan kit? Well I don't want to give up any bottom end torture, so I'll live with 6800+ for now.

Roque_Ant with your translator pro , fuel line up grades I can get the 30% added fuel I need for E-85 correct? I have 55lbs and the 3 bar FPR, 18 lbs Max chip, dual port waste and 2.5 test pipe.

I'am one of the big fish in the little pond somebody referenced.

No, not Rennlist! Dayton NV(16 miles outside of Carson City)! I said small pond make it a tiny pond if you wish.

Not any 400+ Hp 951's out here that I have seen. I have seen only one other 951 out here and that was awhile ago. a couple very clean 944 N/A's around and I have seen a very clean and built Grey Supra a couple of months ago.

We have auto shows out here every spring and there are very fast cars here
but they spend most of there time in the garages. Mine is going off the road when the snow starts.

I saw an original 383 Dart GTS in June and the guy lives about a 1/2 mile from me. Vetts, Vipers,Lambos, Ferrari's, there here but you only see them on ocassion.

Hmm ok so it looks like no 180mph in a standing mile for us. Not and offical time but it took the Gumpert 1.7 miles to hit 186, 750 hp.
