Yes, the age old headgasket dilemma. So back to stock hey Duke? A perennial problem for some of us.

The old Miller/Offenhausers had the right idea….

60 year life span.
The reason I mention it here – it had no head gasket. The head and block were one casting….

What kind of gasket did you have on there? MLS?

any running problems when water gets on the ignition system? Im going to duct my hood and im wondering if I should relocate my coils

No problems. But I run wasted spark so it's not as sensitive as the stock system.

Not sure what you mean by better but I suppose it's simpler, but I cannot see an area in which mfi would perform better than efi.
