Yup, I think it was on there when you were down, no? Maybe not, I had some KKK crap on there when I was making downpipes.

Definitely very interested in this kit. Anyone have a price on it?

Will a need a different crossover pipe, an must the downpipe be V-banded?

If you buy the Tial "kit" you don't need to mod the x-over or DP. The cross over and DP are exactly the same as stock. Its a special hotside for KKK applications.

If you buy a Standard Gt35 with a Tial v-band hotside then yes, you mod everything.

The KKK application still makes the same power levels, or no? I wouldn't see it being a problem modding the exhaust, but I didn't know they offered a truely bolt on version. Awesome. I was looking at a Vitesse Stage 3 before, but this seems to be a very nice option to consider. Its too bad more people don't have experience with it.

Yes, I would assume it will produce same performance wether you use a KKK or Tial v-band. Its the same housing, just cast with different mounting options. They make a GT30 and soon to release a GT35 bolt on(it may be out but I haven't checked). I think Dukes GT35 was 1 bar under 3200? Don't qoute me, do a search but, I think it was pretty fast for a GT35 82a/r

yep, routed the up pipe in the same spot. Not much room, hard to do right. I used a 2.25" up pipe. Spool was still insanely fast.
Some day I hope to feel the insanely fast spool. Damn back....

Tial is casting more housing for the 951 no date when they will have them done. I have the last one of four set ups they made. I built a 3.1L this set up is to small for me went to a Tial V Band same as evil. I would be willing to sale the 2.5L set up its brand new never used GT30/62 I will have to check with Tial about the pricing. If you want Tial to make turbos for the 951 you guys need to email them and express interest they are on the fence about making any more turbos to fit our cars because they are not sure the demand is there.

Ahh, okay. I just caught up on the part below, but I understand now.

Those are some nice numbers. However, I'm sure this Tial kit isn't cheap...then again, neither is the Vitesse Stage 3 kit. Anyone have any dyno graphs floating around of this Tial turbo?

I have been involved with the Tial project since the beginning. As of this morning, there are a few changes to be made to the design. I just found out a few more needed changes, which I will relate to the Tial engineer in charge of the project. I will keep everyone updated as things evolve.

John,

Can you discuss more? I was talking with the owner he had 2 complete kits. He is the one who sent me the pictures and there was no mention of things needing to be changed. The only part that wasn't done was the cooling lines. He had pricing and everything. It seemed done to me.

[QUOTE=ausgeflippt951;6436194]<snip>

The Tial is an awesome low-end turbo. Sean's spool up is much quicker than mine and has a huge hit down low <snip>QUOTE]

Low end ?

I like the sound of this. Do you recall what the ideal rpm range was for the TiAL?

Thanks for any insight.

read this thread. Its Dukes Gt35.. 1 bar at 3400rpm. 95ones gt30 1 bar at 3200. Some careful tuning and/or parts and perhaps those numbers could come down.

Sounds like the GT30 could be sub 3000rpm?

I'd say so. Maybe Bruce(95one) can share.
