Sean, did you splice the Vitesse equipment in the original S2 wiring harness?

Very nice build Sean!
The only thing that dissapoints me is the low 8.0:1 compression. IMHO it's such a waste for a 16v engine, unless you intend to run it at 30 psi on bad fuel..

Hi Thom
Nope, We got a 951 DME and KLR and wiring harness. So essentially its like playing with a 951.

Thanks Duke.
Thats actually half the plan. We did not want to loose any of the turbo character(the hit). even with the 8.0:1 Cr this thing hauls ****, its much faster then any 951 i have been in.
Our engine will be going in this weekend(finally got an intake) i plan on running it at 20-24 psi on E85 in the future. I currently run 1.5 bar on our 2.5ltr with E85 all day.

What? you didn't upgrade the muffler bearings?

Sounds like a nice project! What did you use for headers?

Sounds good and I'm sure it's plent fast already
But you know, the "hit" is just the differance from going from "slow" to "fast", you'd get the hit with higher compression as well, but it will go from "moderate" to "faster".
I run 9.5:1, no problem with 17 psi on pump gas.. And on E85 it could do much more than 25 psi.. Other 4 cyl 16v engines do 25-28 psi on 9.0:1 pump gas..

Chris dont tell every one our hp secrects, but now the cats out of the bag we had the muffler bearings teflon coated!

The exhaust is stock S2 exhaust flanges welded to cut 944 turbo headers.

Duke, we put GT3's to shame down here in these cars, we dont want to beat them by too much they will throw us out of the club

I need to get down under and watch you embarrass those GT3 owners!
Would be a perfect opportunity to compare muffler bearings too. Mine's big.

Thanks guys, thanks to this non-sense tread I'm now considering building a 3.0 turbo next to the 3.2 NA, I can tell you all my wife will not be happy with you bunch. It's all your fault. Due to limited knowledge of this I guess I'll have the Lindsey brothers having a go. Will let you know.

I moved your listing up to the running list. Congrats. Let me know if that listing is still current, or if you made some changes...

Anyone else with updates?

I'm reconfiguring the valve train on mine. A new cam grind should bring me a smoother idle and a little more low end, but still pull hard to 7.5K.
