Why do you say 22 is a lot? Do you mean from water temp, pressure on headgasket, or just a power issue? People are running much higher boost than this, even on our cars. Of course I'm not talking about sustained boost on the racetrack.
Stud torque pressure is also an interesting thing. 120 sounds a lot but if it's sustainable without damage then why not? Interestingly the Raceware studs we just used recommend something like 65Nm torques. We tried 85Nm.
On a related topic, I wonder if 3L turbos using the siamesed 3L block have the same issues? We have seen the metal headgaskets perish with what can only be described as failure through abrasion. It just looks like the head must lift a little and allow the cylinders room to vibrate just enough to create a rubbing action that instigates the wear and eventual coolant loss.
Has anyone tried the Fuzion?
DLS you can mount a switch on your dashboard to flick between maps...but you've got to change injectors. I would actually just go back to a smaller inj for a 2.5L at up to 20psi. Then you can flick between maps without getting out of your drivers seat. Oh, and your English is very good.
ps show some pics of your car in the other thread, if you haven't already. In fact, there is another thread talking about hood vents and yours look unique. Very neat!

22 to redline with the right ignition...? No, its to much. You need to avoid peak cylinder pressure that will occur at max torque and that is what kills the engine. You will have headlift if you have a stock cam and long intake. The solution is to have power with less boost. The right cam, intake and a modified head will make this and straiten out the torque line.
I run 20 at the most but with that I have 600 rwhp and a flat torque curve with no peaks at all. Of course you can run 22 psi with low ignition as you have more margin for exhausttemp but there will be no power compared to the boostlevel.

I run a Fuzion that is taken apart and glued between all layers. The head is modified with steam vents (AN4) above the intake channels to avoid the air pockets together with a modified cooling system with one more expansion tank and 2 bar caps. I also have 9/16 head studs that is torqed to 175 nm.

Yes I did, same thing here... 500 rwhp with 18-19 psi. Much of the benefits with E85 is that you can increase ignition, thats where the power comes from, not the boost alone... You just to be carefull how you do the tuning, you can rise ign about 10 degrees and even moore at higher rpm but less at peak torque so it would not look like a gas chart. Its about to even out the cylinder pressure if you want to hold the engine together. There some other tricks to with the ign curve also.

I know you've done lots of tuning and changing due to these issues. That makes sense what you say.
The only thing you haven't done is take enough video Mikael !!!
