I think the V3s would be perfect for a fast road car. Here's a good and fair review done in Rennlist.

You'll find that most of the Uk guys aspire to installing the KWs too. That's where I learned of them. Glad I did.

Review my signature. It was dyno'd at 340 rwhp @15 psi boost and pump gas. Mahle piston and Carillo rods.

Let me know if there is other information I can send.

Do you have a dyno chart you could post so that we all could see the curves?

Damiza, Chris is one of the top dogs in the game. You are very lucky to have one of his cars.

Looks like I can get the kw's here locally for $2,245.09. Seems like they ride great on the road. Also everyone seems to think traction is greatly improved. Going from a 2.5-2.8 seems nice but, it still wouldnt gain real big power. With lotsa extra traction, id be inclined to think itd be about the same in terms of quickness. There is no replacement for displacement, there also is no replacement for efficiency. Its nice to have all kinds of power on tap, but it doesnt mean much if I dont have the traction to use it.

Here is the link, seems like this is the best price on the net. They happen to be local for me too.

I had it dyno'd a over year ago. I looked for the sheet prior to posting and couldn't find it. The local shop normally has a dyno day in concert with the local PCA chapter that should be taking place soon and I will get an update then.

my rods and pistons and front running gear.

Bob, your numbers sound right, as I was hoping for 360-370 at 16psi.

Well Mr. Tone-Loc may find that useful in his research for the power that a 2.8L can make, so when you get it can you please post it?

^ I think that would be a better investment.

I've been reading the reviews on the kw3 for awhile now myself.

Impressive reviews. I think paint and kw's would be money better spent right now. Would get my bank roll back up a little sooner for a 968. A 968 turbo s is my real dream car. A fully sorted 951, with goodies, and a turbo 968, and I could die a happy man.
