yes, that is right. but I can understand question about this.. because I cant really understand how its gonna help either! cuz if you space out the tie rod, you still have to adjust the tie rod ends in..?
I just barrowed it from a friend of mine, who has a 200sx s14.. I dont know if the steering rack is the same on those cars.
he said it would work on my car, so I dont know.. I can try
what else can I do too get more steering angle? anyone!

As you said, spacering out the tie rods will only get you a lot of toe out!
Let's pretend for a moment that you did get more angle outward. You would still get less angle inward so it can never work.
But spacering the tie rod down vertical is a good idea if the car is much lower than stock. That would get a straighter steering rod angle and will reduce bump steer. It might give you a tiiiny increase in steering angle since the rod will work straight and not upwards.

yes, thats what I tought! I will do some serious reseach on modifying the steering rack this winter. It will be a interesting process! anyway, I WILL get more steering angle
I will keep you updated.
If I use the D2 or other aftermarket s14 tie rod ends, it will strait out the tie rod angle a lot. plus it is alot more solid. the only thing I have to do to make it fit, is to grind the hole in the spindle. but its not much at all.

I have fixed the steering issue, but now something else is wierd.
I was on a large empty space, just practicing with the car, burning and just having fun, when I found out that the engine died out on me all the time. (It has been like this before, but not this extreme)
is this coused by MAF and open BOV setup? it gets very rich afr when the dump opens, and the engine stops...
i hate that!! at WOT, the AFR is right, but when I step of the gas after the engine has boost, while braking down, it dies!
will stand alone with MAP sensor make it better? anyway, I will change to stand alone this winter. I am tired of MAF/piggyback..
also, it is not easy to "drift" with a large turbo. when I get in to low RPM, it's a little slow building boost up.
I need a dual BB turbo!!
porsch abusing tires, + awsome bimmer at the end!!

hahaha, summer mating ritual...
yes, anders. to bad its too late in the season to change to resirc bov.. and the tial flange is welded to the hard pipe...
what stand alone system do you guys recomment?
the TEC3R, with the bolt on package from SFR seems to be very good!
what about autronic SM4?
Olli Snellman: hehe, "akkurat".. yeah, E30 are cool cars!! M50b25 engine with turbo, and that car would have kicked my ***
I love BMW engines with turbo. and it's very popular these days. there are lots of awsome bmw turbo engines running around in scandinavia now.

I have some friends in sweden that can install, and map the engine with VEMS, you need a 60-2 trigger, but that's not much work. neither is makeing a camtrigger to allow full sequential. they do a lottttt of bmw turbo cars.. damn thats an easy way to get power
open BOV + maf = just useless
open BOV + maf = just useless
nice! where in sweden is that? do they have a homepage?
was planing on full sequential ignition. that is one coil for each cylinder right?
VEMS seems to be a very good Management System.
I can install the system myself, I would like to learn that. also making crank and cam trigger. any ideas where to make that?
oooor is it pure hell installing it with not much experience..?
but the mapping is a job for the experts.. your friends know the VEMS, ragarding mapping and possible problem issues??
VEMS would be a lot cheaper than TEC3, but maybe I have to make more custom solutions.
what are your engine plans, anders? are you going to use VEMS?
sorry Olli, no more piggyback on me.

Don't be in denial like I was for so long.
Just go change BOV to a recirc one. Pay someone to make a new one.
Its going to stall constantly while you're drifting. Or just deal with it as you have been. But a large turbo and stalling with atmospheric BOV are going to make your drifting extremely tough. Late in the season or not. It needs to be changed right now do do anything competitive.
A beautiful creation none the less
