So what are you using now?
btw, is your avatar a picture of you digging a hole for it and burying it deep in the forest so you don't have to look at it again?

Yes, this does mean TWO back-to-back clutch jobs, 11 miles apart.

Carlito can tell you what that was like, I am too disgusted with them.
I have no words as well. i was pissed and it was not even my car and it does have to do with me helping out as well. if you guys really want to know how it happened and what happened i can explain.

Someone please just post a description of what the problem was and which parts/build dates it affects. Is it something I can measure/inspect on my PP before installation or do I have to call up KEP about it myself?

Wait, your fork broke? What was the pressure rating on this plate? The fork, IIRC is like quarter thick at the smallest point.

my clutch fork after 40K dd miles with the KEP2

I'm thinking of polishing the new stock one to remove stress risers.

Sounds like the Blaszak strengthened clutch forks are going to be mandatory....

i just talked to montee at KEP because i ordered a stage2 pp from them. he confirmed he's heard of some stock FORK ARMS breaking. i'm wondering how long you guys have been using the stock fork arm, and if they were changed out when you changed the pressure plate/clutch.

anyone?

i've had a stock fork arm break on my first 951 after about 60k miles on the stock clutch. this was when everything was brand-new. so i don't think the stock fork arm is as strong as people would like to believe. i wonder if this part was upgraded/improved. i'll have to check the PET later today.

Clutch forks break with stock clutches as well. It really doesn't take much. When mine broke is felt like is slowly went, rather then a quick snap. Even with a stock clutch, mine broke exactly like the one shown.
