924s- stock alignment- $100
944n/a- stock w/ minimal camber specs-$150
944turbo- 2degrees front camber 1.5 rear- $250
944turbocab-$170 stock align
944turbo stock w/ minimal camber-$100

place near me charges by the hour and seems the more extras you ask for the longer it takes. Best to find a place that knows their way around a 944 and has the tools to do the rear camber/toe or theyll be messing around for hours and you'll pay for their incompetance.

I was under the impression you couldn't do a 4 wheel alignment on our cars. I busted a shop trying to charge me for one.

You were wrong.

and in other news, dealerships charge 4 hours at 93 bucks and hour, or there abouts.

Surprisingly the cheapest place in my area (that has experience on Porsches) is the dealer.

Independent shops charge around $200 (aligned to my specs) but the dealership is only ~$150 (and uses top-of-the-line Hunter equipment). Heck, the alignment tech even lets me sit in the car for proper weighting.

Takes ~ 1 hour so I'm not sure why your dealership quoted 4 (unless they're doing string alignments).

Brumos goes by the book. You may have a dealer that is less greedy. Keep in mind that I talking about a 4 wheel alignment.

mine does all four wheels set to whatever i want- usually takes 1-2 hrs. 4hrs is someone that doesnt know their way around an alignment rack or a greedy dealership.

yes you can align all four corners rear has a hole for a tool to adjust camber/toe just for alignments - i have the tool- and the front has lots of adjustment.

$125-160 depending how far out of whack the alignment is for the independent Porsche place i goto that uses a Hunter rack. I had another place do it once and it cost $200 as they did it the old fashioned way with string and measuring. The alignment was also to my own specs.
