SID>. Turn up the boost. Kill it with MPH so you don't really have to worry about launches and shifting. JUST bad *** horsepower. I know you want to and are holding back. I'm trying to give you the reason you're looking for.

I decided to take the car down to the best it we have here in Colorado. It took me 2+ hours to get there and now it's taking that to drive home.
It rained last night and the track was wet all morning... So much for getting to run in good air. By the time we started the air was around 6500'. It pretty much stayed there all day. However, that air is still much better than the 8500' I generally run in.
I recently picked up some BFG drag radials. Our of all of them they're the worst IMO, but they were cheap.
Now to the racing...
Started off with a shakedown at low boost and ran 12.8@122
Then went up to 16 psi and ran 12.44@123
Then went 12.33@almost 124.
Finally getting in my groove I turned it up to 19psi and went 11.81@123.8
It kept spinning in second all day so there is some improvement still.
I make another run and the timing is f'd up. I believe this was my best mph of the day. Ur no proof other than I watched my speedo all day and it was the highest this run. I was a little po'd so I hot lapped it and went 11.79@124.32
After this I was pretty much happy and tried to improve my trap speed but to no avail. I went a 12.90@124.78.
I tried one more run and spun bad in second running a 11.86@122.3
All in all I'm very happy with the car and it has been a total blast. I'm looking forward to coming back out here with a trailer and putting the screws to it in thier normally better air.
I finally did it but it has so much more left in it still
Car weighed 2937 with me in it. Getting pretty close to a true 500rwhp. I'll post some pics when I get home.

SO.... Fu#% Yeah. 124.78 mph is cookin.
Now.. Don't touch the boost setting and go run up higher at the usual track in the next few days (unless it's too late and you've changed the boost setting) Tell me the difference in MPH. I don't care about E.T.

Bruce, actually that was the whole point of coming down here and why i didnt crank it up further. I ran the exact same setting at my usual track and went 120.1 best. So in essence, I did exactly the same thing only on reverse.

I do now believe I can hit 130 at sea level with some changes.

So, you ran 16psi in Colorado and didn't touch a thing and ran in Oklahoma. Smart.

Just to break it down, and be absolutely clear here:
Boost controller has 4 buttons total.
Off= around 12-13 psi at my local track..used for shake down runs
low=15-16 psi at local track
high = 18psi at local track..was 19psi at lower airThis is the button that has been used for the last couple months..Same as today. It has been very consistent at 117-120 at local track..consistent today at high 123-124's
manual button is a **** that goes fromo 15psi to ?? (havn't tested it).
I'm not sure what you are getting at, but I did this to prove to myself that running a reasonable boost setting I could break into the 11's.
I drove it 180 miles so that's a reason not to crank it up
Now it's onto making real power....
