Most likely keep breaking stuff, but I am going to try a slightly less devistating launch technique.
When you go into that link it shows those priced at $600+ and they have '-MS' as the suffix. This alludes to Motorsport I'm sure. When you go to the Lindsey site outside of your link all I could find is the same coded product except it doesn't have the '-MS'. They are substantially cheaper and 1lb lighter. Is it simply as it appears that the MS is a genuine Motorsport part and hence almost 300% more expensive? You would think that the rest of the part numbers would also be different? Also where on the site did you grab that link from?
Thanks

They are the same basic part number because they are the same size axle for the same car. But they are different manufactures, the stock replacements are leombro, and the motorsport one which have a different part number because of the MS are made by GKN. If the GKN fit my car I would not buy them, at that price you can have custom axles made. The GKN just don't seem that much stonger, and only a little lighter.

I thought I read somewhere that the 930 ones fit ours and are stronger? Who would make custom ones and is this necessary for what sort of hp cars. My intention is not drag racing so I am not hard on my car, but 450+hp is what it is.

930 AXLES DO NOT FIT, It is the logical upgrade , but a lot of modifications to make it work , the factory did use 930 axles on the original GTR ....
Cryo the stock ones it is the best you can do with them... on race cars we change them every 20-30 hrs of operation if not they wil fail with you on the track , for drag racing , less say it is not by coincident 944's are not at the drag strip, the axles are pretzel strenght at best ... we have used the motorsports , I got 2 launch control starts them pow !!! cyro the axles , it is better than running modified ones, unless you go to 930 axles....

The axles themselves are easily upgraded, there some places here in Sweden where you can get ones made that will allow pretty much twisting before they brake, at least a full turn. They will probably take a lot of forces away from the joints.

I don't have the bolt spacing of the joints here, but with those in hand I'd search around for suitable upgrades for the joints. Those might be harder to find.

Spaghetti axles huh Duke? What are the realities of getting some better ones than we have?
A.W., excuse my ignorance but what sort of power to weight are you putting through yours? With the Cryo process what is involved and does it last the duration of the component. I've only seen the term Cryo involved with packaging by creating a vacuum, not sure how it applies to axles??
