100 oct Sunoco race fuel from the pump, if I need more fuel I will add some VP 100 oct at the track.

 

As of now they say they are going to run the test and tune tonight. I am going to head up and hope for the best.

 

Well if i can get ahold of JIM i will let him know.

If i get a ride up there i will have my digital camera (same as last video cept bigger resolution) and i will also bring my actual video camera.

 

Please bring a video camera, we are relying on you for the footage. No one esle has come forward to say they are going to tape.

Well back already. I am staying about 30miles from the track. Half way thee it started to drizzle and by the time I got to the track it was full on raining and the gates were closed.


Our rain day was meant to be on the 18th but it looks like they arn't running test and tune that night because the Moster trucks are there that night. We can do this saterday the 14th, next saterday the 21st, or wednesday the 25th.

As a little teaser for you guys since you were hoping to see time slips today I will post up one from when I was there June 20th. That night I ran 93oct, 17psi and street tires. This is the same night I broke my axle the first time, I think I posted a pic of the cages from the two axles I have broken so far.
I ran a 12.67sec @111.65 mph, 60' was 2.202 sec and the 1/8th was 8.34sec @90.11mph.
I will edit this post later with a pic of the time slip.

Well - I just got back.
The track was closed of course - Murphy's law.
If we hadn't gone up, it would have been sunny and 65 degrees F.
We have pictures and video from the ride of the torrential rain - there was a rooster tail from under my diffuser at about 100 MPH that looked like an F1 car.

TMS - I cannot make 2 weeks from today, so maybe we do it 3 weeks from today? How is that?
