Trick 951's

My car's front will look a crazy amount like this one. Subtle differences though, and mine will a bit more "business" as Gustaf says.. louvers in different places and a more integrated radiator vent for downforce. Speaking of..
I'm revisiting my rear suspension. DUKE is making me think seriously about his set up. Boxter or whatever is all the same. I've already discussed this option with "viking" on the racing forums and in person. ... I don't know why, but looking at it done changes my mind a little.... maybe.
OH.. and yes, BAD *** DUKE!

Thanks David. I thought I was going nuts as this car's thread seems to have disappeared? I'd love to know how much he wanted for this. I'm sure it was the Woody Weiss car.

Looks really similar to that blue one Dave, albeit with a new paint job. Someone was on here thinking of selling it but that thread just vanished?

Aha, good point. Squinty eyes and phone pics don't mix! Still wonder how that thread disappeared from yesterday? Zoran could be interested.

Also, dave might know this, but did any of the Uber 951/968 race are ever come up against each other? Norwood, Vision/Orca, Weiss cars, and others in this thread? Doesn't seem to be a lot of obtainable history on these cars. Be great to read up on them and who/what they raced against.

Ah, good point. Thanks for satisfying my curiosity. You'd think they'd offer him the option to join and just continue on. Assuming that $25 is of little consequence to the owner of that car! Love to know more of the specs. Sounds like its had some more recent updates.

Patrick,
The Blue car was waay more developed. I'm sure they were racing together but, I don't think Woody raced a lot. He also had a Panoz car and some Grand Am Camaro(or something like that) so, he was a busy guy.
I think the original guy who bought the red, yellow and blue car above was the previous all time record holder at Lime Rock Park, Stephen Savino Jr.
