I pulled my captain planet maneuver for the year and cleaned up all the oil. No worries.

Our cars our $5-10k cars, get over it. I love our cars, obviously many here do too. Stop jerking yourselves off about how much "better" your car is that it is hand built or blah, blah, blah.

I dont think that everyone on here believes that our cars are better then all others. Our cars are cheap. In mine (and many others) they are the BEST cheap car.

I can make 800HP in a civic any day. can I make 800HP in my porsche (realisticly)? No. Does that make the cvic better? hell no. Civics are cheap, plastic coated, rattling, economic comuter cars. Will a civic out handle our 951's? no. Would 800hp in a civic be as "daily" as a 800hp 951? I dont think so (opinion).

So what it all comesd down to is that our cars are great cars. They make good power, great torque, are smooth, beautiful, luxurious, and make you feel like a million bucks. Try feeling like that in a civic.

SO lets stop all this import Bull**** and realize that our cars dont make as much power as other cars because they dont need it. anything over 900HP is going to be **** on the street at a DD un less its a veyron. Imports make lots of power because they go STRAIT. our like to turn. Done, its been said. no one here ONLY drags their car (I belive) so all this import vs 951 is totaly useless anyhow.

This isnt directed to anyone but we need to all realize that if you want to go strait fast then you buy a AMERICAN V8. Not a import even. IF you want to turn, have great power, and love your car. then buy a 951.

How did no one bitch about domestics? Everyone here is hung up on 1400HP evo's and supra's. **** We have a 2000HP big block stroker in our shop. and thats not even that impressive compared to other motors. If you want to have a pissing match about power then leave the imports out of this. WHy burn rice then you could force alcohol and 50PSI of boost through a 540CI v8?

I always thought that way you know, over the past 15 years I had over 13 toyotas and 2 nissans, they served their purpose to take me from A to B with reliability in mind, but nothing more, nothing special, nothing to brag about just plain cheap plastic reliable transportation. On the other hand the 951 feels unlike any other car not necessarily better because as we know they are over 20 years old, oh boy but what a feeling, light, neutral, balanced, great torque these are the things that described these cars, oh damn I forgot they are also special when it comes to maintenance and the word that describe that area is PITA.

Wow, I never knew I talked trash to people...I'm gone for a few days...just wow. Talk about pent up frustration!

Dave, start a new thread, one without the BS. What you're doing deserves a real tech thread, not this abomination.

When DOOM II was band by the PCA from Club Racing the decision was made to turn the car into an import drag car. With this set up we put down 936whp at 36psi the car was raced at 789whp at 32psi. Even detuned we experienced major stress factures in the block away from the cylinders.

I know I'm not alone in asking could you provide some more info on this? Excuse my ignorance but what was your connection with this car? Where did you experience the block fractures? What turbo's did you use? Any more pic's? You know there is so much folklore attached to these cars that we would love to hear more.
Thanks.
