I promise I will try to do a better one with wot all the way.

id like to point out that you went from top of 1st, like 46-50mph with your car, to top of 2nd, like 80, in under 3 seconds at not even full WOT.

corleone, have you done any work to your transmission for the higher revs?

No. I have had no problems so far, of course I dont use 4 + 5 gear as often at WOT like the rest.

I wish I had the money...

Is the intake manifold a purchased piece, or custom made? I am interested.

I have designed and calculate it myself.

Wow, sure is a pretty piece. I was just curious, as I have an extra intake manifold laying around and was thinking about doing something custom with it. I have to say though, the car is beautiful, under the hood and cosmetically. Great work!

Everyone, including me, appreciates the info. And fantastic fab work on that intake manifold. That's a lot of time.

+1 on the open honest discussion.

I still wonder on your boost levels, afrs, c/r all adding up to a pretty high c/r during combustion though...but the proof is in the pudding as they say. So long as it's holding together then that's proof enough. Also you mentioned that the turbo is going to run out of it's efficiency range at much over 19psi but that seems odd since you have a GT35. Isn't your hotside a .82? They can clearly handle over 19psi or am I misreading something here? Overall I'm not disagreeing with your attempts to make the car most efficient at lower boost levels though. Good for longevity.
But we need to see how much you drive it and under what circumstances. Just street boosting or more sustained loads? Any track time?

I have no problems so far. I drive a lot at the street and if I go on track I run 1 bar and still have 450 rwhp. My hotside is 1.06. Yes the GT 35 han handle higher pressure but in my engine with my air exchange is at its max at lower boost as I have a good N/A built engine wit a lot of off boost power, the efficiancy is high. Thats also why I have dynoed 450 rwhp at just 1 bar. How many here have that? Anyone?

Is your engine a 3.0 ltr?

Interesting. 800 C is where my car usually sits. Dropping to 500-600 on a slow cruise. Is 800*C a peak figure? If not what does it peak to if you hold it on boost for a while. Sitting at 4500rpm in fifth so the turbo was constantly spinning and giving it a few bursts to 6000rpm (following a nice Aston back from Le-Mans) I noticed I was seeing just over 900*c or around 1800 F. Air temp outside was mid 30's*C but cooling should have been very good at those speeds.

Just wondering how your car compares.

I have had 825 at the most with several runs at 3:rd to 4:th gear, at 4:th and 5 speed is realy high so it is a bit difficult to maintain that speed. 900*C is ok to reach an Garret says its no problem.

Yep . Little more actually. The dyno chart is on our web site. Interesting project! Good job!

Thanks! As you know I have several Lindsey parts in my engine...

Ok. Well... you can have even moore power at 1 bar also can I if I chose a turbo with bigger compressor but its always a compromise with driveability as you know. The one you show had a 65 compressor, a bit bigger than mine.

It also differs a lot beween dynos, the Rototest tha I dynoed on is very accurate with a 1% tolerance.
