Very impressive Skip! I can see one thing missing though… a passenger seat.
I’m sure many people, me included, would pay to have a ride in that monster.

Thanks guys. I'll be at Nelson with passenger seat installed - have a Recaro SRD ready to go in but have left it out since its easier to get at the wiring to troubleshoot without it installed.

Figured out my rich/oscillating idle tonight. Turns out mice like the taste of silicon vacuum hose - ate right through the one going to my FPR. I'm totally pissed at myself for fooling with the TEC3 for the past couple of weeks trying to figure it out when it turns out I just needed to use some basic troubleshooting skills. For whatever reason I find myself doing that with this project at times - overthinking things and overlooking the basics. Oh well, as long as I didn't wash down and score my cylinder walls with all the extra fuel, all I lost was time.

Amen. hallelujah. Can't keep track of how many times I've done that.

Damn.. First I've seen of this project.

Must be 4 or 5 years ago now that I bought my wheels from Dave. The wheels in my avatar at one time lived on that car, but just weren't wide enough!

I'm glad to see it back to life.. I'm just about ready to have my car back on the road here as well!

hmmm...sounds like you got a "Mickey Mouse" tune up!

Its amazing the damage a mouse can do - one of the my track junky buddies has a 911 GT3 that he puts into storage for the winter. When he got it out of storage a couple of years ago the mice ate a lot of his wiring and trashed his interior. He first thought - now I can turn it into a track car!!!

I wouldn't worry about washing down the cylinders - it takes alot of fuel to do that, you should be OK

We had to go look up your address to see if the 666 in the pictures was photo-shopped or not.

It's not!
