Alright, I will put the Skunk-thing aside in this thread and post some pics of new parts

I just ordered 300+ feet of wiring for a new harness I'm going to build.

The head. Stock valve sizing.

Tial 44 mm v-banded wastegate.

Tial 50 mm BOV. Gotta love v-band.

Racing valvesprings setup to handle 30 psi.

Custom CNC-milled engine mounts. Semi-solid.

Custom CNC-milled caster blocks with delrin inserts.

Painted front brake shields.

Shift **** insert

Custom delrin bushings for front sway bar drop links.

Grouted block.

Can you explain what grouting the block does? Is that the same kind of grout that goes inbetween tiles?

Glad to see your project back underway

Does this mean you worked things out with Skunk?

Why did you not go with larger intake valves?

Thanks guys!
No I haven't worked out things with Skunk.

Grouting the block is to improve the structural ridigity of the block and minimize cylinder movement at high power levels.

This was my spare head, the one that was going to be very special is with the skunk.
The work on this head is nice but the stock valves are going to rob me of a lot of power.

Is this a cheaper/ more effective alternative to sleeving the block?

No this is just for some added security with stock cylinders.

Will the grouted block affect the cooling any? What about some kind of girdle at the top of the cylinders to add rigity? something like this?http://www.modacar.com/products/Hond...ock+Guard.html ?

Yes it reduces the amount of coolant between the cylinders but the 3.0 liter blocks came that way and the very most of the heat is at the top of the cylinders anyway.

A deck plate is a very good idea but the attempts to make one without having to rebore the cylinders didn't work out.

Do you mean the outside of the cylinders? Not sure what you mean by reboring?
