ah yes well the 968 bumper has those two. Two of them and they are installed properly and on the car. If you look at the pics down low you can see them.

My interior is maroon but, it has been ripped out. I will be doing something custom with the inside of the car. I dont really want to talk about it yet but, look for a update on that sometime in the future.

actually I think new guy Turbo944T has a ROW rear bumper that has a long strip rather than bumperettes. I also have a ROW bumper going on my car and have been contemplating leaving off the strip. Just not sure I trust soccer hooker...err mom's with cell phones hitting my car in parking lots...oopsie!

Does a stock 968 just have a plastic shell or does it have a metal bumper under the shell attached to the body of the car with shocks absorbers? If it does, does this conversion include the metal bar under the bonnett shell with the shock absorbers attached to the car?

The car looks cool. I love these custom conversions.

944J, yes there is a bar that needs to be included in the conversion off the 968. Without it, there is practically zero bump in the bumper.

Good insight Mr Ehall... I will snap a pic or two once the shaving is done to help with your decision if you like?

I know this, but I don't see it in this one.

Sorry I thought you were asking when you said the above.

You cant see it because its under the cover.

The bar was included in the sale of the bumper cover for Big J.

Have you looked under the strip. Mine is OEM Porsche and the strip is held on by bolts that go through the actually bumper. I'll be interested to see if that was the case with all of them. If it is, you'll have to patch the bolt holes and a couple of larger holes as well.

I know I know.

How do you adjust the beam height?? My low beams shoot really too low for my liking. My fogs are great but, I tried just screwing in the screws that bolt the light fixture in thinking it would tilt the fixture up some and thus move up the beam but, it didnt do a damn thing.

how do we adjust the beam?

Well you can adjust how the headlights sit in the bucket using the two triangular mounting plates. They are held on by three bolts on each side. Loosen them and you can get a fair amount of adjustment.

To aim your headlights, there are two screws in the headlight surround, i dont remember off hand which does which, but by screwing in and out you can adjust the horizontal and vertical beam. The best method i have found to aiming the lights is to drive about 15-20 feet away from a wall at night with a clear line of sight on level ground. Adjust the hotspots on your lights so they are straight foward and level with your bumper line. Do you still have the manual for your car? There are instructions on how to aim them in their.
