You make a good argument Steve... I just dont want Ted to have to deal with all the constant whinging. Lets here from Myswiss anda few others before we make a decision on the subject. I am with you though... The cc class was for the purpose of distinguishing the 2.7 and 2.8 motors.

Going to the dyno in the morning. Any limits on the boost to get that top horsepower spot

I have no real idea what to expect, I dynoed 350 with the K27/8. Now I gots me a bigger turbo, uh huh.

I just came back from the dyno, with the same AF and same boost I lost 16Kw at the wheels by changing my wheels to 18's and installing the screamer pipe. Not sure what to make of that!

lol I liked the pre edited message ST!

PS I have basically resigned myself to the fact a Vitesse Stage 3 turbo makes the most sense... if he will only give a damn discount! lol

I would like to see a full-house Garret perform as well on a 951 - ain't gonna happen - not at stock valve-train revs. And then it will have chicken-torque.
Get the stage 3.

Dude, ST doesn't even get a discount and he is the Official Vitesse Guinea pig!

John's prices are cheap when you consider the tech support. You can call him on his cell phone at 2am on christmas eve and have him walk you through something.

I dont think I will need any tech support for a bolt on turbo! But you are right, the support is just awesome.

I am offering any kind of special favours too John

Just added to this list RKD...

PS I just found out the dyno dynamic dyno measures 12% lower than the dynojet. When converted to dynojet figures it puts me at 379WHP. I was wondering why my 19.5-20psi run was so much lower than others! Sadly there isnt a dynojet dyno in the South Island...

A few words about this top ten list. Frist of, what about the boost facter one guy is running 25-psi and the other 18 or what ever, it does not equate. AS an example defastest was not dynoed at 25-psi had he dynoed at 25-psi his numbers would have been much higher than what he got.All mods a side i feel boost should be a facter in the out come, as everybody knows, run your'e car at 15-psi on the dyno, and then at 19-psi there is a big difference in numbers you will get. In my opinion boost has to be a factor.
