Nope, still under the tree

IT'S NOT THE WASTEGATE.

I just got back from my buddies with the compressor and I put a line on it and could hear the WG open and close.

Gonna drop it off tonight at the shop and see if they can find anything. Although, a screaming turbo and no boost =..................

I also left a message for Dave Lindsey to let him know what is going on.

What could have heppend to a newly rebuilt turbo????????

If your intake is at all clogged, the restriction will be transfered to an old softening factory j-boot - which will collapse. And yes, you will hear the turbo loud as hell

Try a boost run without the filter

Intake/boot not clogged. Checked it all when I took it off to check compressor wheel.

When you checked the compressor wheel, was the axle turning with the wheel? Since it is a friction fit it can come loose and then it is not advisable (to say the least) to continue driving.

To test the TPS you have to remove the connector ... done with the car shut off.

OT: Todd, you say that you have a 60-1HIFI with a #6 hotside, yet your sig says Lindsey Racing Super 61, i remember it reading 60-1HIFI a few days ago?????

I was told that mine more closely resembles the Super 61 then the 60-1 hi fi, as mine is the TO4B and hifi is a TO4E.
