Daniel: That TQ just keeps climbing (to a point )

How do you like the turbo? the response, drivability, acceleration blah blah blah.........

keep in mind that for thr Turbonetics 60-1 HIFI im going for is BB, which improves spool, repsonse and all that junk.........

i like the turbo alot. I know ther is plenty of power to be made at that boost level if u look at my a/f and also plenty of spoolup time with it running to so rich plus i have a EBC to help that out too. i will be posting new dyno sheets soon at 20psi

This thread talked about two turbochargers, the turbonetics 60-1 HIFI and a T04E Super 50 trim.........

That's all? anyone used the T04E Super 50?

Because you only ask about the 60-1 initially.
Rage was running a Super 50 I believe.

Rage also has an all bore 106mm 2.8L.........

I remember the thread "let's talk GT turbos" you guys were talking about compressor maps for those such turbochargers.

I asked a question on that thread, the question was that you guys base the turbocharger by its compressor map in relation to our engines.

The repliy i got was that the compressor maps are to give us a 90% idea on how the turbocharger would behaive on our cars.

With that said, i still couldn't find the Turbonetics 60-1 HIFI compressor maps nor ethe T04E Super 50 trim either...........

The GT sounds very promising, but with that much work into installing them, just doesn't match what im looking for.......

I also asked about Turbonetics Inc as a company to deal with regarding their products (which has been answered), point is..........is there anything out their that competes with the 60-1 HIFI

Hos, Rage hasn't always been running a 2.8 liter.
He had a high hp 2.5 liter for a long time.

I don't want to be rude, but with all you concerns/questions about getting the right turbo spec for your needs perhaps you should buy a turbo through one of the tuners?
That's what you pay the extra for! To get the right specs for your specific needs.
I just don't want you to buy something that you'll later realize wasn't what you were looking for

So what's the point Hos, if your mind is set on a 60-1 then
go for it & since it's being used by quite a few listers, getting
a properly mapped chip should be a walk in the park.
