I just brought one have Fuchs and burgundy interior.
Car is in fair condition but out of my 15 years of a 944/951 owner/fans, I never see a factory pearl white and jump into buying it with both feet having the idea of restoring the car.
Now I heard from you guys that there is only 6 of them makes me even more interested.
By the way, if anyone cares, mine have 7448 as the last 4 of the VIN.

Cheers,
Raymond
BTW - I have a folder on that car - looks like it was run through ebay back in 2007.

Hey Jeff - great pics! Do you mind sharing the last 4 digits of your VIN? Any interior or engine bay pics? How many miles do you have on it?

Here are the pics in the ad.

Yes, thats the one. He also included the original 16" Fuchs, which I have them on now as it looks much better with the Fuchs.

Morning Guys! First time 944 owner...here to say I just purchased Vin 7406. It runs but the body is in very bad shape. It does have some salvage history to it. Supposedly it was stolen and found in a cargo container. I cannot verify the story though I do know it has the "L0A9" paint code. My plan is to bring her back to life and drive her as she was meant to be driven.

Wow - yet another one! Congrats on the purchase. Can you post up some pictures of the car and the paint code and VIN? I am glad you are planning on restoring it.

Attached are a few pics

The previous owner was a young college student who couldn't afford to finish it. He did a lot of maintenance but it still seems like it is a bit laggy. I will admit it has been 15 years since I have been in a 944 and it wasn't even a turbo and from what I recall that non turbo was peppier.

I have yet to even dig in and read the forum posts regarding this car but will start digging in tonight. LOVE the color combo...that's for sure.

First thing's first, I might to make sure that mechanically it is sound. Once that is complete I want to have it completely repainted and want to find the proper wheels and have them painted to match. Once that is compete I will tackle the interior which needs a little attention. I will keep you all posted to its progress.

Any questions? Fire away
