I am trying to keep the 951 pearl white population up.
My first 1987 951 (bought 2001) was Alpine White, which I had repainted to Pearl White, but unfortunately the engine "died" (cracked cylinder) and it also turned out that the car had been in an accident ending up with a slightly bent front, so it is now a spare part car.
My second 1988 951 (bought 2004) was originally metallic Copenhagen? Blue, but had been repainted black, which is a good color if living in a colder climate and having it detailed at least twice a year. So finally I decided to wrap it in gloss Pearl White.
I am currently 60% of the way and am getting increasingly better at the wrapping process.
In truth, this is really the "training ground" for my white Jalpa, which will get the same (but better executed) treatment, but I can already see that I will be happy with my soon to be Pearl White 951.

^ - Would love to see some pics of the wrap. Have been thinking about doing this for some time and pearl white is at the top of the list for color choice.
BTW, my brother has a Copenhagen Blue car. It's a solid color (non-metallic), great shade of blue.
Are you still making the manifolds? Love mine!

Looks like we might be seeing a Pearl White 951 in a Excellance magazine at some point in the future. I recently sold my car and the new owner has done a tone of cool things to it that got the attention of one of their photographers and editors.

Wrapping parts (such as sunroof) outdoors in the sun should be done with sunglasses, without them a "big green area" prevented me from reading the computer screen for a couple of minutes, when going indoors.
OK, took a look at the OE paint code and it is LY5Z (Nautic Metallic). I just though that "Copenhagen" Blue was more appropriate, since that's where I grew up.
I keep a low profile on the Vacuum Manifolds, since that keeps the demand at a rate that suits my time allocation best (I do have some at hand though, before needing to make the next batch).

Three Wheelin'
I've had it for a few months. The previous owner stripped the car for a repaint and abandoned the project after that. Interior and engine are missing. He was about to scrap it before I took it off his hands. I have a few 944 projects to finish before I can out any time or money into this project. It had maroon interior. In thinking black or the 968 blue interior!
