oh crap, yeah, i'm *positive* it's factory pearl
the tub is pearl, the engine bay is pearl, the doorjambs are pearl, everything is pearl.
either it's original factory pearl, or a few PO's back, it went through a COMPLETE tear down and re-spray, cuz it is definetly pearl white.
it's got the pearl paint code L09A or L90A, or whatever the hell, i cant remember, and i always forget to check this stuff when i get home (it's still on ramps, cuz i'm finishing up a few jobs.....)
Jeff- DEFINETLY look into a pearl white respray. use the factory color, it's really understated and be-a-u-ti-ful. dont make the mistake of getting that "cadillac" pearl white, cuz that's too much gold for most people's tastes.
i've seen an n/a around here with basically all the aero parts for n/a's and it has that cadillac pearl white respray, and it's too much.
yeah, plus it has the burgundy interior.
all of the factory pearl whites had the burgundy interior, and i think matching fuchs, but mine have indeed been changed, and IMHO, they look better.
if i ever get down to SoCal, i'll let you check it out,

Here's yet another on eBay:
eBay auction. This one is interesting, VIN #6418. It looks pearl white to me in the photos (you can see some metallic shine to it in some pictures) -- but the vehicle has a US VIN, but it's sitting in Japan. It even has side markers on it. Plus a hard rear spoiler!

i like how it took me almost a year (or over a year?! ) to look at my damned windshield and get the vin-
last 4 #'s- 6601.
paint code in the hatch tag is the LO9A, and the option code tag vin matches the vin on the car.

Hey guys,
Where can I find the VIN for these pearl white 951 ?
I just brought one have Fuchs and burgundy interior.
Car is in fair condition but out of my 15 years of a 944/951 owner/fans, I never see a factory pearl white and jump into buying it with both feet having the idea of restoring the car.
Now I heard from you guys that there is only 6 of them makes me even more interested.
By the way, if anyone cares, mine have 7448 as the last 4 of the VIN.
Cheers,
Raymond
