Here's Another Guards Red 951...
The only things that seperate my car from the rest are:
1) I only paid less than $2000 for it one year ago - Still 100% stock
2) My cigarette lighter/cellphone charger illuminates in the dark
3) I got the euro windshield wiper deflector
4) I run 15"x7" front wheels on 205/50VR15 tires for that low nose(3") and slight rake
5) My intake and snorkel was converted to a ram-air type(planning NACA duct)

OK- More pix...
I was responding to a local Craigslist ad last August. The PO was selling the car because he had issues with starting and dying-out(DME Relay). Also, the car had numerous oil, coolant leaks too. Nevertheless- I decided to bring a new DME relay, when I test drove the car. The PO was a College student who knew nothing about automotive. He was certain the car needed an engine rebuild soon. It took me only three minutes to know this car's engine was NOT tired at all. I gave him the entire contents of my pocket and he signed it over to me. Included was a brand-new KKK K26 Ball bearing turbo. I about died and went to Heaven. The final purchase price was a stonking $1380.00. He even made out a gift receipt, so I paid no sales tax, either. No bad for a running(although leaking) 951.
Please dont ask me about incurred expenses since purchase. The current tally is about $5600.00. I basically took my savings from this deal( I budgeted $7500, for a 951), and applied it towards restoration parts. The car will remain bone-stock until after New Years' 2006- in which she will get the Vitesse Stage 2 treatment, new seats, dash, wheels, and whatever "Portia" needs for a full transformation. Below are pix of the recent paint respray:

TMS951 your car is coming togeather sooooo well. I really am in love with the color of paint. And thaht painted hood badge is incredible with the amount of detail that has been etched in there. Tell me, what did you use to tint your taillights? Also what color would you call your paint?
