Custom touch - I'll probably be going back to clear soon - just wanted to see how it would look. Some like it, some hate it.
Personally I think it's plusses equalling minuses for a net zero gain. The plus is visually it brings out the black accent pieces on the car a LOT. Stuff like the rubber wing in the side profile, the surrounds for the windows, the black door handles (and pieces behind, which not all 944s have), and the black fuchs stand out a LOT more with the black stone guards and as such, it makes the black/white read better, IMO.
On the downside, they make the car look older and the rear ones in particular are sometimes interpreted as "fake brake ducts", which I don't like (borders on "rice"), even though it is the exact profile of the stock guards.
So, IMO (after having them on for a while) I think the net gain is about nil, so I'm going to revert to clear in the interest of authenticity.

"What happen'd to the non-red turbo "S" spec car hunt?"
It was not fruitfull, and I was not willing to wait forever. This car already has a lot of the goodies I would put on it installed. It's red but hey I had to compromise...
The license plate belongs to the previous owner, mine may or may not be custom, but it'll read something else!
